The whole-crew rate
This example uses a CAD 180 hourly rate for the whole crew, with the truck included. Do not multiply this rate by the number of movers again. Other packages can use a per-mover rate when configured that way.
Hours from your formula
The house has four furnished rooms. At 0.75 hours per room, the calculation gives three hours. Labour is 3 × CAD 180 = CAD 540. Your configuration can also use fixed hours or apartment size.
Travel and services
The scenario uses 30-minute travel at CAD 180 per hour, giving CAD 90. Real travel depends on verified routing and your company’s rules. Agreed disassembly adds CAD 60. The before-tax total is CAD 690.

This example has a three-hour minimum. You can configure your own minimums and rounding. Taxes are disabled in the public scenario to show the before-tax amount. Your company’s taxes depend on its configuration and applicable rules.
Review and sending
Missing details or rates require review. You can adjust amounts with a reason. Sending can be automatic for eligible requests or wait for your approval. A quote does not reserve capacity.
Questions to settle before accepting
A lower hourly rate can still lead to a higher final bill if the minimum is longer or the scope differs. Ask the mover to record assumptions in writing before comparing the total.
